ADU in Saratoga

Design / permitting / interior design with materials and fixtures

Scope for this project is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom ADU with 999 sq ft in the backyard of an existing home. The ADU shall serve as the main dwelling for a family member.

The goal with the design was to create a light and bright dwelling which wraps around the existing pool and even with being close to the pool create a private outdoor space.

Outdoor Space and Garage Conversion in Saratoga

Design / permitting

An existing carport had to be converted to serve as a garage and multi functional space with bathroom, opening towards the garden area. The conversion had to incorporate the restrictions of the building code and to work around the specific rules.

The outdoor area was re-designed to create a year-round livable space with outdoor kitchen with bar, integrating a hot tub, fireplace and large dining area under a pergola. The pergola can fully protect against rain and integrates heater,, light and sound system.
